Meghan Daum, Author, Columnist and Essayist, Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY

A 2015 Guggenheim fellow, ,Daum has been an op-ed columnist for The Los Angeles Times since 2005. She is the author of four books as well as the editor of the anthology Selfish, Shallow & Self-Absorbed: Sixteen Writers on the Choice Not to Have Children.

Day launched her global support network Gateway Women in 2012. The group now connects more than two million women who are childless not by choice. She is author of. Living the Life Unexpected: 12 Weeks to Your Plan B for a Meaningful and Fulfilling Future Without Children.

Marcia Drut-Davis, Author and Speaker. Stuart, Florida

Drut-Davis was one of the first American women to speak publicly about making the decision to live childfree. She became committed to helping others overcome the stigma against non-parents after facing death threats, picket lines and a lost teaching position following the 1974 CBS broadcast. She is author of Confessions of a Childfree Woman: A Life Spent Swimming Against the Mainstream, and a popular speaker on pronatalism, parenting choice and assumptions about regret.

The theme, Redefining Feminine Legacy, weaves through presentations by experts from the United States and United Kingdom including academics, counselors and other professional women on topics ranging from estate planning to boundary-setting and small-batch cooking.
