Marcia Drut-Davis, Author and Speaker. Stuart, Florida
Drut-Davis was one of the first American women to speak publicly about making the decision to live childfree. She became committed to helping others overcome the stigma against non-parents after facing death threats, picket lines and a lost teaching position following the 1974 CBS broadcast. She is author of Confessions of a Childfree Woman: A Life Spent Swimming Against the Mainstream, and a popular speaker on pronatalism, parenting choice and assumptions about regret.
